The Short Version: ImageRapid is a 100% client-side application. Your images never leave your device. We don't have servers, databases, or storage systems. We cannot see your images, access your files, or track what you convert. This isn't a marketing claim — it's how the technology works.
What Data Do We Collect?
Absolutely Nothing. Seriously.
We do not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal data, images, or identifying information. Our service runs entirely in your browser. When you close the tab, every trace of your activity disappears.

Transparency Note: Our website is hosted on standard web infrastructure. Your browser connects to our server to download the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files. This connection may be logged by our hosting provider (Vercel/Netlify) for standard operational purposes, but we do not have access to these logs and do not use them for tracking.

How ImageRapid Actually Works
Understanding the technology helps build trust. Here's exactly what happens when you use ImageRapid:
You select an image
Your browser reads the file from your device using JavaScript's FileReader API. The file never leaves your computer.
Browser processes the image
Using HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript, your browser converts the image format locally. No data is sent to any server.
You download the result
The converted image is created as a new file in your browser's memory. You save it to your device. Nothing persists.
Cookies & Local Storage
We deliberately do not use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or any other persistent storage mechanisms. Your privacy is preserved by our architecture, not by a pop-up banner.
Cookie Notice: Because we don't use cookies, we don't need a cookie consent banner. No "Accept All" pop-ups, no tracking preferences. Just privacy by default.
Third-Party Services
ImageRapid.online is designed to minimize external dependencies. However, we do use:

Google Fonts - Used for typography. Your browser downloads font files from Google's servers. Google's privacy policy applies to this request.

Font Awesome CDN - Used for icons. A CDN request is made to load icon fonts.

Hosting Provider - Our static files are hosted on Vercel/Netlify. Their standard connection logs may temporarily record your IP address, but we don't access or use this data.
We explicitly do not use: Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Sentry, or any analytics, tracking, or error monitoring services.
